Are you hoping to exhibit work in the Hampshire College Art Gallery as a key part of your Div III project?
On Thursday, September 26, at 5:30 PM in the Arts Barn, there will be a mandatory meeting for all Division III students graduating in the SPRING of 2025 and intending to present work in the Gallery.
Attending this meeting is required for all students applying to show their Div III in the Hampshire College Art Gallery. In this meeting, we will:
Review the application, scheduling process, and important dates
Discuss useful, need-to-know information and tips for showing work in the Gallery.
This event will be in person. If you cannot attend or require accommodation, please email me at gallery@hampshire.edu.
Please note that timing, spatial, and resource constraints limit exhibition slots. While all Div IIIs are welcome to apply, priority for exhibition slots will be given to students with film/photo/video or studio arts faculty on their committees, as an exhibition is often a requirement for graduation for these students. We recognize that there are students without Studio Arts or Film/Photo/Video faculty committees whose projects necessitate showing in a formal gallery space, and we will do our absolute best to find exhibition slots or assist them in identifying alternatives and helpful resources.
